Project Overview
Half Past Yellow brought me on to help design the UI for their Steam release. My task was to create a 2D interface that felt integrated with their 3D world, matching the 'lizard technology' aesthetic of the towers and buildings players construct.
My role:
I worked on the UX flow for the level select and loadout screen (prior to its transition into 3D), as well as the design of the main menu, HUD, map view, gameplay and tutorial dialogs, radial build menu, card layouts, and win/lose screens. I also created several UI animations as Unity prefabs for easy implementation. Icons and illustrations were provided by the Half Past Yellow team.
